Welcome! I am Lisa Godo, a mixed-media and sculptural artist.

I start with found wood pieces and then go through some variation of a process that consists of wood burning, carving, inlay of glass, metal, beads, organic matter, jewelry and whatever else I’ve gotten my hands on that asks to be included. Every one of my artworks is exquisitely crafted and there will never be another one like it, they are truly one-of-a-kind.

At some point during the process, I add acrylic ink and usually some glitter. Sometimes I add glue to create organic shapes and then burn them with my propane burner. Once all of that has come together, I seal them to give them a shiny and smooth finish. This adds a sensual tactile dimension to the experience of the piece, and fondling the art is encouraged at my shows. ;)
